This diner is a fine example of Southern hospitality!

We have eaten here several times and the food is always good and cooked to order, with excellent service. If you order lunch or dinner, get something with the brown gravy on it. It's lick your plate good!!!

Great place for our Sunday brunch after church. They have a good selection of breakfast choices as well as sandwiches and meals. All filling tasty and we'll priced. I dropped a star as their a.c. wasn't able to keep up with the warmer temperature.

Great breakfast meal. The employees were really friendly and helpful. This will be our go to breakfast stop coming home from PCB! See you next year.

Usually I love to eat at Mom's Kitchen but today I gave it 4 stars because the menu stated it was yams and I was expecting the very sweet yams and all I got was canned sweet potatoes. However the meatloaf gravy and mashed potatoes was great. Service was also very great.

We just love the employees! They have great attitudes no matter what time of day it is and no matter how many hours they've been there! We've neither one ever been disappointed in anything we've ordered at the restaurant in Hartford! From the House Omelet that I usually order for breakfast to the Catfish Filet Dinner I usually order, they're always cooked perfectly. Never greasy, but that catfish is crisp on the outside and tender and flakey on the inside! My husband loves their portions...small=HUGE, and that makes him very happy. He really likes the Country Fried Steak Dinner and the Catfish Dinner. If we could change anything at all about Mom's, it would be to add a lot more seating...because there are a lot of other regulars who love that place too!🙂🙂

We've been there several times. The vast majority of the time, everything is cooked to our liking. On the rare instance when something has been overcooked, the waitress has taken it off of our bill and/or asked if we would like a replacement. At least they try to make it right with the customer, something that is unusual any more.

Stopped here for breakfast,waitress was on top of it. Food was great,biscuits fluffy,not heavy. Great country atmosphere. Can't miss stop,breakfast,lunch,dinner.

Was good food until i noticed the watress never washed her hands before serving customers or taking payments or getting the ice . other then that great service minus the whole not washing hands thing

Hidden gym of a place for great Southern fare. All the standards and each are as good as the next. Plus service is just what you would expect of Southern hospitality!

Great food and very polite staff.

Smoked pork chop is the best. Turnip greens and cabbage a close second. Highly recommend you try them.

All I need to say here is try the GRILLED GROUPER! Family friendly atmosphere and all the food is seasoned and prepared well, but seriously... get the GRILLED GROUPER!!!!
